PTC #8 Dune Project Update

The Town’s contractor has resumed operations on the PTC# 8 dune project. They will continue to access the beach at the Jenkins Way Access (BA#41) at 1294 New River Inlet Road. Our engineer will be on-site today assessing progress and status since the winter storm. Further updates will be provided regarding the work plan for the remainder of this project.

PTC #8 Northern Shoreline Dune Project

Potential Tropical Cyclone #8 is the unnamed storm that occurred on September 16, 2024, which caused dune erosion mostly in Phases 1-3 on North Topsail Beach. The Town immediately requested a post storm survey from our engineers.
