Rogers Bay: Deck Application

Requirements

To make a deck application for Rogers Bay, you will need the following:

  1. Simple Building Permit Application (online)
  2. Zoning & Floodplain Development Permit Application (online)
  3. Sketch of:
    1. Location on property
    2. Deck dimensions
  4. Receipt from Rogers Bay showing payment to use the plans (Check with the Rogers Bay Office for more information)
  5. Building plans approved by Rogers Bay HOA
  6. If this deck is to be covered, provide the covering engineering designed for 150 mph ultimate wind speeds
  7. If the deck is to be enclosed as a screen room, provide the screen room engineering designed for 150 mph ultimate wind speeds
  8. A notarized letter from either the Manager or Board Member authorizing application submittal

Application Process

Please complete the following applications in this order:

  1. Log into: https://www.citizenserve.com/northtopsailbeach
  2. Complete a Zoning & Floodplain Development Application:
    1. Mouse over “Services” tab in the top bar
    2. Click on "Planning and Zoning"
    3. In the left-hand column, click on "Apply online"
    4. Select "Zoning and Floodplain Permit" in the drop-down menu
    5. Complete the application and click "Submit"
  3. Complete a Simple Build Application:
    1. Mouse over “Services” tab in the top bar
    2. Click on "Permits"
    3. In the left-hand column, click on "Apply online"
    4. Select "Simple Build Permit" in the drop-down menu
    5. Complete the application
      1. Indicate “Existing Project” and enter the ZFP permit number noted above
    6. Once complete click "Submit"

The application process will request the upload of the application documents.
