2025 Hurricane Community Forum

Please mark your calendars and join us for a Hurricane Community Forum on October 9, 2025, at 6:30pm.   We will have a representative from the National Weather Service, representatives from our utility providers, JOEMC and ONWASA, as well as the Deputy Director for Onslow County Emergency Services and NTB staff.  Please join us for this informative event.  We have scheduled these the past few years at different times during hurricane season and past video can be viewed on the Town’s website under hurricane preparedness.   We are embarking on the time of this season where we have experienced some major storms.  Hurricane Matthew hit in October 2016 and Hazel in 1954!
